About the club

DJK TuSA 06 Düsseldorf was founded in 1906 and is one of the city's largest multi-sport clubs with approximately 2,300 members. The club offers eight different sports: volleyball, beach volleyball, football (men and women), basketball, track and field, table tennis, and sports for people with disabilities. The volleyball department stands out with about 35 teams, including 22 youth teams. In December 2021, DJK TuSA 06 was officially recognized as a state volleyball center.

Offering

• Indoor volleyball: Women's team competes in the 2nd Bundesliga Nord. Men's team was promoted to Oberliga for the 2026/2027 season. Numerous youth teams (U12, U13, U14, U16, U18, U20) competing in Oberliga, NRW-Liga, and Bezirksliga
• Beach volleyball: Four beach courts on the club grounds with comprehensive training and vacation camps during school breaks. Notable athletes include Holler and Wickler (German Champions 2017) and Borger and Sude (German Champions 2019)
• Youth development: Broad foundation with 22 youth teams; Svenja Müller became U18 European Beach Volleyball Champion in 2018
