About the club

SG Sendenhorst 1910 e.V. is one of the largest sports clubs in the Warendorf district with 11 departments. The volleyball department was founded in 1973 and ranks among the largest volleyball clubs in the Warendorf volleyball district. The club boasts a successful history: between 2003 and 2008, it fielded up to 23 teams competing in the Verbandsliga (regional league) in both men's and women's divisions. Today, the department has approximately 180 members with about 120 active players. In partnership with SC DJK Everswinkel, the club operates the only men's teams in the entire Warendorf district.

Indoor Volleyball: Women's teams from Oberliga 2 to Bezirksklasse 28, men's teams in Verbandsliga and Landesliga, youth programs (U13–U20 for boys and girls), recreational teams
Beach Volleyball: Teams for adults and youth on a 2,000 m² facility with three courts and beach house, regular beach camps on Usedom island for children and youth, annual Titanic-Cup tournament

Worth knowing

The club organizes regular beach camps on Usedom island (Jugendferienpark Ahlbeck), where children and youth participate in volleyball training and recreational activities. The U18 championships were held at the club in 2011. The club has competed in West German Championships in both indoor and beach volleyball. The annual Titanic-Cup is an established recreational tournament. Beach volleyball facilities are accessible to non-members outside scheduled events.
