Telekom Post SV Bielefeld was founded in 1930 as Post-Sportverein Bielefeld and, after refounding in 1949, is one of the established sports clubs in East Westphalia. The club operates across 13 locations throughout Bielefeld and offers both competitive and recreational sports.
Offering
- Volleyball: Men's teams competing in the Third League (DL West) and Regionalliga West, women's teams from Verbandsliga to Kreisliga, youth programs U12–U20 with separate divisions for boys and girls, doubles competitions
- Beach volleyball: Beach volleyball teams for adults and youth, grass-court cup tournament (bpi-Rasencup Bielefeld)
- Other sports: Tennis, table tennis, badminton, roundnet, BALLbinis children's programs
Location
Apfelstraße 23 A, 33613 Bielefeld. The club trains and competes at the Almhalle and other training venues throughout the region. A new beach volleyball facility is planned behind Bültmannshof School.
Worth knowing
With 347 volleyball members—including 114 youth members aged 6 to 71—the club maintains strong youth development. The men's team achieved promotion to the Third League in 2025 under coach Anne Horstmann after a successful promotion playoff. The H4 championship in Landesliga and regional success by youth teams (U16 and U20 at Western German Championships) demonstrate the club's competitive standard.
