TuS Saxonia Münster 1883

About the club

TuS Saxonia Münster von 1883 e.V. is one of the region’s oldest sports clubs, with over 1,300 members. The club was established in 1945 through the merger of three predecessor clubs: Turnverein Westfalia (founded September 29, 1883), Turnverein Jahn (1897), and DJK Saxonia 09 (1909). Following the destruction of its sports grounds in air raids on October 28, 1944, the membership rebuilt the facilities after World War II.
